Onboard Communication System

BITCOM-M

The Shipboard Communication System is designed for use on RHIB combat boats. The system is intended both to provide internal voice communication for the crew and to support communications through external communication means such as broadband radio stations, HF radio stations, satellite phones, or GSM.

A dedicated user interface allows control of all communication equipment available on the boat via a remote touchscreen console. The system logic makes it possible to configure, at any time, which crew members have access to specific communication means.

Using a multifunction PTT tangent, users can conduct voice correspondence via any radio communication medium to which they have been granted permissions.

BITCom-M enables conversion of the Cursor-on-Target protocol to the AIS protocol, providing display on the console of the positions of previously defined own units.
