Comprehensive Measurement System For Precise TIME AND FREQUENCY METROLOGY
The Precision Time and Frequency Metrology System is the first unique, multifunctional and technologically advanced system for precision time and frequency metrology.
The system was presented at 8 thematic exhibitions and at 6 International Invention Shows, where it won a total of 6 medals, a special award and a distinction.
The system was developed by the WAT and KenBIT Sp. z o. o. Consortium as part of a research and development project.
simultaneous high-resolution time interval measurements between signals from multiple sources
precise frequency measurements
generation of reference time intervals over a wide range
determination of the stability of frequency sources, in particular atomic reference sources
distribution of reference time and frequency signals, electrical and optical, to multiple receivers
The MTC 108 Time and Frequency Counter performs time interval measurements over a wide measurement range (> 1 hour) with very high precision (< 4.5 ps) and high measurement repetition rate (up to 91 million meas./s) in eight independent measurement channels. Frequency measurements are also performed over a very wide range (up to 3.5 GHz) and with high resolution (12 significant digits). The functionality of the MTC 108 counter is further enhanced by measurement modes for short-term stability of clock signal sources (Allan deviation) and quality estimation of these signals (time interval error, time deviation).
PDA 0816 Electrical/Optical Signal Splitter |
|---|
The PDA 0816 Electrical/Optical Signal Splitter enables the distribution of signals generated in the system and/or coming from other sources, in both electrical and optical form, simultaneously to up to 16 receivers. |
TIG 101 Time Interval and Frequency Generator |
|---|
The TIG 101 Time Interval and Frequency Generator is a source of reference time intervals, which are generated with ultra-low time jitter (< 5 ps), based on a dedicated method of counting signal periods with dynamic phase shifting. The generator can be a source of a square wave with precisely adjustable frequency (with a step of 1 mHz). |
Time interval measurements are carried out over a wide measurement range (> 1 hour) with very high precision (< 8 ps) and previously unattainable measurement repetition rate (up to 10 million meas./s/channel).
Picosecond measurement precision thanks to the application of time-to-digital coding method, built-in atomic frequency generator and an integrated automatic calibration system.
Frequency measurements performed over a very wide range (up to 3.5 GHz) and with high resolution (12 significant digits).
The system is a source of reference time intervals with ultra-low time jitter (< 5 ps), based on a dedicated generation method.
Possibility of distributing signals, in electrical or optical form, simultaneously to up to 16 receivers.
Control of the system locally using built-in keyboards and/or touchscreen displays, or remotely via USB or Ethernet interfaces.
