XDM-HF 8/8 Receiving Antenna Switch
The XDM-HF 8/8 receiving antenna switch is a compact device intended for switching and distribution of high-frequency signals in the range of 0.1 ÷ 30 MHz. This switch is an excellent solution for applications in both military and civilian areas, e.g. ships, coastal and land-based radio communication centres, radio monitoring services, etc.
The device switches antenna signals from 8 antenna inputs and delivers them to outputs to which HF receivers are connected.
The XDM-HF 8/8 switch enables the connection of multiple HF receivers to a single antenna without excess loss of the signal induced in the antenna.
in passive mode, it connects the selected antenna input to the receiver on the basis of a direct connection;
in active mode, the switch enables the delivery of a signal from one antenna to several receivers simultaneously.
The switch enables cooperation with active HF antennas. In such a case, it powers the active antenna via the antenna coaxial cable, the so-called "Bias Tee".
with a high IP3 factor and a switching matrix built on the basis of electromechanical RF switches, which ensures excellent electromagnetic compatibility properties;
in the case of one antenna operating on one receiver, the input amplifier is bypassed, eliminating the possibility of useful signal degradation;
ensuring trouble-free operation of the switch even under high-intensity electromagnetic field conditions;
through the application of signal level measurement circuits. In the event of high signal values at the antenna input, automatic gain reduction or automatic grounding of the antenna input occurs;

The antenna switch can be operated locally via a 7" touchscreen and function keys, or remotely via an application installed on a PC computer (operator workstation connected to the switch via a serial interface or LAN).
