Trade fairs, military exercises, conferences and events in the life of KenBIT.
In February 2019, at KenBIT’s Gdynia Branch, as part of our own investment, we expanded the design workshop, the ship systems commissioning laboratory, and the repair workshops for radiocommunications equipment. New equipment included: modern production furniture, electronic measuring equipment, SMT assembly production machines, an inspection microscope, a climate chamber, state-of-the-art workplace lighting, and ESD protection equipment.

During the Balt Military Expo 2018 trade fair in Gdańsk, we received the award of the Commander of the Polish Navy for the Shipboard Integrated Communications System “Neptun.” The Neptun system is used, among others, on the mine destroyer ORP “Kormoran.”

KenBIT ensures satellite communications during Adam Bielel’s expedition to K-2. Our compatriot plans to “achieve the impossible” by skiing down from the summit of K-2.

On 12 April 2017, a settlement-and-coordination briefing for the senior staff of the Ministry of National Defence was held at the Polish Army Conference Centre. The ceremony included a presentation of military equipment awarded at the International Defence Industry Fair in Kielce last year with the DEFENDER award.

On 22 March, a formal gala was held at the Polish Army Conference Centre in Warsaw, during which the results of the “Innovations for the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland” competition were announced.

On 19 January 2017, the second edition of the Maritime Security Forum of the State took place at the Novotel Airport hotel. It was organized by the Warsaw Trade Fairs Management Board and the Naval Academy in Gdynia. The Forum was an event where representatives of the Government of the Republic of Poland, as well as central institutions, presented the strategy and policy regarding directions for the development of the Polish Navy.

From 13 to 14 October, KenBIT took part in the first European symposium organized by the Global SOF Foundation. Held in Vilnius, the event focused on the role of special operations in ensuring security around the world. The symposium brought together companies from 22 countries, as well as military and government representatives, including from Lithuania. KenBIT presented participants, among other things, the Battlefield Management System BMS HEKTOR, the BITCOM onboard communications system, and the mobile workstation.

On 3 March 2016, in Warsaw, a letter of intent was signed between the Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa (Polish Armaments Group) and KenBIT Sp. z o. o. regarding establishing business cooperation to assess the possibilities of presenting to the Ministry of National Defence and its subordinate units (hereinafter the MoD) a joint national (Polish) product and commercial offer covering the solutions and technological competencies relating to IT and telecommunications products and technologies.

On 3 November 2015, the Council of Ministers adopted a draft regulation on the list of enterprises of particular economic and defense importance (Official Journal 2015, item 1871, published on 13 November 2015). The draft was prepared in the Ministry of Economy to standardize the system for organizing and supervising the performance of defense-related tasks by manufacturers of armaments and military equipment. The regulation updates the list of new entities whose business activity is significant from the perspective of national security.

From 08 to 24 June, KenBIT participated in CWIX exercises (Coalition Warrior Interoperability eXploration, eXperimentation and eXamination eXercise), which were held for the fifth time at the Joint Forces Training Centre in Bydgoszcz.
