From 25–26 November 2014, KenBIT participated in a seminar on cooperation on innovative technological projects organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Poland, the National Centre for Research and Development (NCBR), and the Algerian Centre de Developpement des Technologies Avancées.

Read moreOn 6 February 2012, a consortium agreement was signed between Wojskowe Zakłady Łączności Nr 2 S.A., WB Electronics S.A., and KenBIT Sp. z o. o. The purpose of this consortium is to develop a technical design and a prototype of a Mobile Teleinformation Node intended for command-and-control and communications systems at the tactical level. The consortium’s leader is Wojskowe Zakłady Łączności Nr 2 S.A.

Read moreRepresentatives of our company took part in another planning session for the CWIX 2012 exercise. The meeting was held at Garmisch, Germany. During the conference, the goals and scope of the CWIX 2012 workshops were discussed. The group also participated in meetings within the individual thematic groups. KenBIT representatives took part in the meetings and in setting the agenda for the workshops within the Land Forces, Systems Security, and Networks thematic groups.

Read moreFrom 9 to 22 September, Communications and Information Technology workshops COMBINED ENDEAVOR 2011 were held at the U.S. base in Grafenwoehr, Germany. The exercises confirmed the interoperability capabilities of the Battlefield Management System (BMS) “HEKTOR.” The system successfully completed a series of tests, confirming its readiness to cooperate with other coalition states’ systems (NATO) and PfP (Partnership for Peace) countries. COMBINED ENDEAVOR is the largest and most comprehensive interoperability exercise for communications and information technology forces in the world. About 1,400 specialists participated from NATO and PfP countries, along with representatives from civilian companies.
Read moreOn 30 June this year, a picnic was held to mark the 60th anniversary of the university. Representatives of the Ministry of National Defence, the General Staff, the branches of the armed forces, and uniformed services attended, along with large numbers of Academy staff, including retired personnel, industry partners cooperating with the university, and alumni. The event was accompanied by an exhibition of equipment presented by friendly defence industry companies, as well as booths from all WAT faculties. KenBIT also had a booth, strongly associated with the university. The stand featured the BMS HEKTOR battlefield management system and portable communications sets produced by KenBIT.

The exercises were a major success for KenBIT and for the entire BMS HEKTOR project team.
Read moreA KenBIT delegation was present at the JFTC preparatory meeting in Bydgoszcz. KenBIT representatives carried out further, detailed arrangements regarding BMS HEKTOR tests during the CWIX 2011 exercises. Particular emphasis was placed on security-related issues.
